I purchased this bundle after perusing the offerings on Amazon for an hour or so. I opted for this particular bundle because 1) I’d purchased items through Bargain Cell (from Ebay) before and found their offerings to be exemplary…and 2) It offered the US version of the Motorola software…or at least, that was what was pictured.

That was not what I recieved.

What I received was an Asian knockoff that featured no english outside of the Motorola name. The software wouldn’t load… at all. I called Bargain Cell immediately and was told that someone would call me right back once they looked into why I didn’t receive what was pictured. Well, 2 hours later, I called them back and spoke to someone who attempted to tell me that I was not installing the software correctly. I’m thinking that I put the disk in the drive and go from there. The only problem was that my computer wouldn’t acknowledge that the disc existed (probably because it couldn’t read the chinese/japanese either). Anyway, I finally had to out talk the representative to get him to shut up long enough to hear my complaint. I told him that if they couldn’t provide the software that was pictured on the sale page, then they were knee deep in false advertising and that I wanted my money back and an RMA number to return their useless junk to them. He assured me that he would be sending out another disk and that he would do everything in his power to ensure that the american version of the disk was sent to me.

Well, the poor fella must have fallen short in the power rating because he didn’t send me anything. 2 weeks later, I wound up purchasing the right software from Motorola, sans all of the other goodies and for 2.5 times the price. I called Bargain Cell and demanded an RMA and refund which the representative gratiously provided.

I would steer clear of this company folks. The fact that they post different pictures of software in different packaged deals and then send you what THEY want to send you is enough to keep me away from them for life! I told the representative that I was surprised that they were still trying to peddle the asian version of the software to customers who specifically buy the lots that feature the US version and he said that he wasn’t aware of any complaints. I told him to take a look at the Amazon feedback from time to time so that he could be enlightened.

STAY AWAY FROM BARGAIN CELL if you are looking for software…those people are not to be trusted!
