Although this charger was received in good shape, and looks and feels very durable and solid, it will not charge my phone. When I plug it into the phone, the phone just says “Unauthorized Charger” across the screen, and doesn’t charge. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

Customer Review: Motorola Speaker Adapter does the trick
This adapter, though doesn’t look like the picture, makes it possible to use your personal 3.5mm headsets with the Motorola Maxx ve. I have the Bose Quiet Comfort headset and it works great. You can listen to your tunes but if you get a call you have to disconnect the adapter to take the call. If you have the need to do both (listen to music and take calls) you may need to get a Bluetooth stereo headset. or wired headset designed for that capability.

This charger worked for only 2 days after I bought it.After that whenevr I plug the phone to charger it ,the ph displays a messages that the phone cannot access the storage device!!! I dont know what this means.

So I heard if you let you phone battery run down and then recharge it you get a good use out of the battery. So what I did I purchased an extra charger and battery to swap out when it goes dead. This battery has the ability to stay charged for maybe 12-15 hours without alot of use.

Customer Review: okay, but not as good as original
The straps covering the hinge area of the phone are very sparse compared to the original silicone covers that Motorola used to sell. In general, there’s a lot less silicone protection (holes are bigger) than the original Motorola product. But not bad for 35 cents, although the shipping was more than 10 times that much (unjustifiable, I think since it arrives in a shipping envelope and weighs no more than 2 oz.). But since you can no longer find covers for this phone model in the stores, this is not bad. And even with the high cost of shipping, it’s still less than the original I bought in the store.

I have a skin for my Blackberry and love it…but this one for the Motorola is just plain useless. It falls off, doesn’t protect the corners where it gets damaged the most, is flimsy, etc. Just not a phone design that accommodates this type of skin…in my humble opinion.
