I got my headset yesterday and so far, so good. The sound quality is good; I can hear well and people have no complaints about my talking. The previous reviewer warned about how hard it can be hanging it on the ear and that part will take getting used to. I expect to have to say to callers “Hold on a moment while I put on my headset.” But it can go on either side of the head, which is good. The on/off button on the cable works. The volume control works.

This telephone is the best phone Ive ever owned, I have 4 phones on one system and have never had a problem in 3 years, reception is outstanding, ease of use, and phone batteries have never been replaced, this phone in particular is the best home phone system on the market, Ive tried others, nothing beats this one. You can do so much with this particular phone even the higher price uniden’s are not as good, have friends with diffrent uniden phones all have switched to this phone, no one has any complaints!!!!!!!

Customer Review: Good Quality Phones at a Good Price
With no reviews to be found on this new phone system out from AT&T I was hesitant to purchase. I must say I am very pleased at the quality of these units so far and the answering machine that accompanies it. The units are well lit with the pleasant blue backlit numbers. The speaker phones on these units are quite excellent with plenty of volume. The answering machine is very intuitive and easy to use with a nice large number of messages waiting display. While this is a very nice set of phones, there are some desirable features that are missing. There is no battery backup for this unit so if you lose power you will have to reset the time. There is no speed dial, however, you can store names from the CID to a directory and dial them from there. Also, there is no visual battery level indicator so you only get notified with tones when the battery is low. My previous phones had that so I knew when to put them back on the base. Some individuals have complained they don’t hear my voice very well when I have a headset plugged in. That may be due to the quality of my headset. I hear them loud and clear so that part is fine. In all I would rate this phone a very good buy as long as they hold up. So far I’ve had them a little over a week and I’m completely satisfied with them.

Customer Review: Poor for users of hearing aids
This phone advertises that it is good for people with mild hearing loss. I hoped it would be good for someone wearing behind the ear hearing aids. Not so. I could not get the telecoil in my hearing aids to sync with the phone. And even with the volume set at maximum, I could not hear the voice at the other end of the line. I returned the phone and replaced it with Panasonic KX-TG9332 which is also DECT 6.0. It is not especially recommended for the hearing impaired but I am able to use the telecoil on my hearing aids with the phone and the voice on the other end is clear. Also, the manual for the Panasonic is well written which is not the case for the GE.

Customer Review: Sometimes I cannot hear..
I wanted a basic cordless. This 900 mhz does not allow me to go as far as my old one. The most recent problem I have had is that I cannot hear the caller on the other end for sometimes the entire call, other times it fades in and out, maybe due to weather?. Otherwise it suits my needs. I like the rocket dial feature and the price.

This item dropped volume and is erractic. Work intermittently and poorly then. I am very disappointed with this unit. It is not worth the postage to return. I found a less expensive unit on Ebay.

This was purchased as a replacement for an aging Sony 900Mhz phone we had downstairs. While I have not even come close to using all of this units capabilities; it works well, sounds good, and seems to have good battery life. Having a second handset is a nice feature as we keep it upstairs. My 5 year old son likes the talking caller id feature as he knows he is only allowed to answer the phone when mom or dad calls and runs to the phone to answer as the phone “announces” this (smile).
