Customer Review: So far so good
I got my headset yesterday and so far, so good. The sound quality is good; I can hear well and people have no complaints about my talking. The previous reviewer warned about how hard it can be hanging it on the ear and that part will take getting used to. I expect to have to say to callers “Hold on a moment while I put on my headset.” But it can go on either side of the head, which is good. The on/off button on the cable works. The volume control works.

Customer Review: Top is tight and plastic is not clear
The design of this case is really nice if you don’t need the swivel clip. The top is too tight. Once you get it on it is nearly impossible to get it off. The worst part about it is that the plastic over the main display isn’t that clear. Mine shows a “moisture” looking appearance from where the plastic touches the screen. It goes away when it has air under it, but mostly it is always “wet” looking. I will probably take it back if I can get the top back off.
Customer Review: Great case, but a little too tight!
The fit of this case is amazing. Actually, it’s a little too tight. The top half is almost impossible to remove after applied for over 1 day. I’ve tried to remove it to clean the inside of the plastic, but either the case tries to rip at the seam or I feel I’m going to pull the phone in half. The belt clip seems to hold fine for me & it swivels! Overall, it’s a very nice fitting case with fair coverage. Only the top portion of the sides and antenna are exposed for drop damage.

I really like this case. It fits the Timeport phone well and the swivel clip is only fractionally larger than the original Timeport swivel clip. The case has a great look and feel. The only issue with the clip is the phone spins freely, it doesn’t have a ratcheting swivel like the Motorola clip.
Customer Review: clip adds bulk
Although I like the look and feel of the case, I don’t care for the swivel clip. The clip adds around 3/4″ to the thickness of the phone so that it sticks out from a belt rather than fitting snug against the wearer. I plan to look for (and “try on”) a new holder and will gladly give up the swivel feature for a slimmer model. Until I find one I like, I’ll put my phone in my pocket.

Three of us in our family bought 3 Motorola V557 phones two years ago. We always leave our phones on 24/7. One battery recently wouldn’t hold a charge for more than two days while the other two batteries would still last for three to four days. They all used to hold a charge for five days or longer and we talked a lot on them. We recently upgraded to three fancier phones because we figured our V557’s might not last much longer. Our new Nokias were great but would only last two days or Two hours of talk time so we bought two new batteries and they lasted two days also. We were told new cell phone batteries usually go dead after 2 or 3 days. We turned our new Nokia phones in and went back to our old Motorola V557’s. Needless to say, we ordered some new Authentic MYBAT original replacement batteries.
