The one positive thing I can say about this headset is that people seem to be able to hear me and I can hear them.

Besides freeing your hands when using the loudspeaker would be impossible or embarrassing, this headset is also the only way you can use the radio and music player functions of the cell phone. Very well designed and built, it includes a volume key in the microphone piece. Fitting the foam protectors on the earbuds is a bit tricky, so go gently not to rip them. In all, a big convenience for almost no price.

Customer Review: Try before you buy!
The fit of this head phone is a little different than others that I have used. As you can see from the picture, it hangs over your ear. It does not fit very tightly against your ear. That lets the noise around me mingle with the earbud’s sound so it is not very clear. The volume control you see in the photo can be used to increase the volume in the ear piece. The result for me was to make the sound louder but not more clear. The loose dangley fit never seemed comfortable to me.

I bought this telephone because I needed a combination phone system with an answering machine. I had my phone for less than a month when my battery in my cordless wouldn’t hold a charge for very long. Not too long after that, the cord phone base wouldn’t ring!!! I have had 2 Uniden brand phones so far and both of them turned out to be junk….don’t buy!!!
Customer Review: If only the speakerphone worked, I’d love it
We really wanted a corded / cordless combination ‘phone with an answering machine and this one works fine. My only gripe is that the speakerphone (at least on mine) barely works. You basically have to have your mouth at the bottom of the ‘phone (where the microphone is) for it to work enough for the other party to hear you. Unless you want to scream. The reception on the cordless phone is very clear. You can get fairly far away from the base but of course, multiple walls may make the line scratchy or unusable. All in all, I’m happy with this telephone.

This speakerphone is very easy to set up and convenient to use. Because it is just plugged into the cigarette lighter it is on whenever the ignition is on and you never have to worry about charging it. It does have to be located wherever your lighter socket is, so it wouldn’t work on some cars, but works fine on both cars I tried it on. It is easy to hear, but the microphone is a little weak, and of course your voice fades if you look to the left while talking.

Easy to install and it works well enough. Speaker sound quality is not great, but it is loud and understandable. Mike pickup seems to be better than my more expensive EGO Cup (also a 12 volt system). Like my other 12 volt system, how loud one must talk depends on the amount of noise in the car. Normal voice level when car is at traffic light and low speeds, and have to talk loud when on freeway, even with windows closed. However, people on receiving end say what they hear is easy to understand.

It works great in close range, so it’s perfect for driving, but I wouldn’t recommend it for use while you are moving around at work or doing chores at home. The battery lasts a long time, on stand by and while in use. Not difficult to use, and sturdy.

I received the headset and used it about 6 different times and every individual on the other end said they could hardly hear me and it sounded like I was in a stadium (echoed). So I said enough and went ahead and returned it.
Customer Review: Great headset/earpiece
I have used this earpiece for a year. I cannot use a phone without one and have tried several. This is the lightest and easiest to use for the price. I have ordered a replacement since the wires eventually fail, but it has been dropped numerous times, left in the sun and generally carried around every day for more than a year before failing! I will buy this again.

Customer Review: What’s with the short cord
If the cord was 1 foot longer, 5 stars. I don’t get it. Is someone saving 2 cents for every one of these? Or.. make the earpiece cord shorter and the thicker part longer. Would have been great if it came with a removable ear clip/wire but not really complaining about that. Maybe a future feature. Then again, if they can’t make the cord 1 foot longer, I wouldn’t expect any other luxuries. Functionally seems fine.
