In order to see who’s calling you have to scroll to the right. The screen only shows Wireless Caller, not the number. However you cannot scroll to the right unless you are in the Call Log menu.
There are way too many menus here. Like one of the other reviewers said, to delete calls from the call log and/or see who called, you have to go thru three menus. It’s ridiculous.
The phone is comfortable but it is not crystal clear. I actually had a hard time hearing the other person. I’m returning this phone as it is just too frustrating. I pay for caller id and I expect the phone to show me who is calling.

I have been wanting a new phone for a while and have been looking at the DECT technology in particular. I was at BJ’s today and found this set for 129.99..no kidding..SIX handsets. So, I snatched it up and came home (then only to read the great reviews of this phone type..much to my relief). I have not used it much yet (I’ve been home about two hours), but set-up was A BREEZE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that the directory is stored in the base, not the handsets, so when info is entered into one, it’s in them all. This was not available on my last expandable phones which is such a major pain. The two calls I’ve made to my husband were clear as a bell using the handset speakerphone. I have not tested range yet. The handsets are sleek and pretty, and now they’re all over my house. My one tiny disappointment is that the base does not have speakerphone. There have been rare instances where when I’m cooking and have my hands all messy that I find it easiest to press the speakerphone button on the base rather than have to remove a handset from the cradle (if it’s there!) and then press the button. Somehow, I’ll survive, but you can get it sooo much cheaper at BJ’s.

I have tried other cordless phones (V-Tech and ATT for example) and keep coming back to Panasonic. I’m delighted with this set of phones, which work perfectly with my voip service. The shipping took a normal time and the packaging was secure.

I’m not just going to throw these phones away, I’m going to give myself the satisfaction of smashing them to pieces before I do. This thing drops calls left and right, even if I’m standing next to the base. At any given time I can pick one of these units and it’s not getting a signal. Don’t buy this under any circumstances.
Customer Review: DO NOT BUY
I purchased this phone to replace an older Panasonic phone system that was wearing out and I am very sorry to say it is not worth buying, in fact I am going to cut my losses, throw it away and try another product. The range is terrible, I have several of the handsets around my home and one is in direct open line of vision from the base and won’t receive a signal. The only way any of the handsets will work is to pick up when the phone rings and get as close to the base as you can to get a signal. Forget about trying to go outside with it!

Customer Review: Great Phone System
Once I got through setting up this system to my own personal home needs, I’ve found this system to work really well. Lots of standard and answering machine features available, plus more. I decided to add two extra handsets, Model KX-TGA930T, and they fit right into the system with no problem. I’d recommend this product.

Excellent quality, excellent features, nice looking. Intercom is easy to use, speaker phone is great quality. One problem is the clock displayed on the LCD looses a couple of minutes a week.

Everything good, except it is difficult to use. Typing in numbers and names is difficult and the functions are not intuitive at all for Americans.

I bought this phone sometime in October or November of 2007 because it was cool looking & I needed a new phone. I have had issues with the battery since January. The charge doesnt last more then 4.5 hours. Dont buy this phone unless you want to deal with replacing it or the batteries within 2 months!

My rating is not so good , and depending upon the response we get from the at&t. We installed this product easily and up for a month all was well. One of the handsets stoped working, because the battery was over. I just emailed to at&t to ask how we can get another battery, because I can’t find it in several websites. For the other parts, we liked this set.
Customer Review: Excellent Choice
First and foremost, this line of AT&T DECT 6.0 cordless phones works extremely well, no background noise even with a home wireless system, great range, and very good sound quality both with the handset to your ear and on speaker phone. It does all that one should expect from a cordless phone system. Entering names and numbers into your directory is very intuitive, as is using the caller ID and changing the ringer tone and volume. You hardly need the manual. We use the “phone company” voice mail, so I haven’t evaluated the “usability” of the answering machine, but it “talks you through” the setup steps, setting the clock, etc., and seems very user friendly to operate. Another nice feature is that directory and CID entries are maintained in the base station, so if, for example, you enter a name/number on handset #1, it is immediately available on all other handsets on your system.

Customer Review: Poor for users of hearing aids
This phone advertises that it is good for people with mild hearing loss. I hoped it would be good for someone wearing behind the ear hearing aids. Not so. I could not get the telecoil in my hearing aids to sync with the phone. And even with the volume set at maximum, I could not hear the voice at the other end of the line. I returned the phone and replaced it with Panasonic KX-TG9332 which is also DECT 6.0. It is not especially recommended for the hearing impaired but I am able to use the telecoil on my hearing aids with the phone and the voice on the other end is clear. Also, the manual for the Panasonic is well written which is not the case for the GE.

I hated this phone. The speaker phone has good audio but the ear speaker is terrible. Many times the voice is so garbled I can’t heear the other user. I am returning the phone today.

Very good headset. Have not had any interference issues and headsets are loud and clear. Headsets have lost connection with the base station a couple of times so they are not perfect but much better than my old Vtech garbage.

I purchased this phone for my parents who are in their 80’s. It was VERY easy to install and set-up, and not too difficult for those who are technically challenged to use. The sound is excellent. The answering machine worked well, and there were just enough choices in sound and ring tones to suit them. It takes up very little space and the phones are in sync which saves a lot of time. You don’t have to run back to the answering machine phone to see who called or retrieve messages.

Replaced an old Vtech with this phone, after trying a new Vtech LS-6125-2 two handset system (horrible battery life, being returned). The E450 appears to have at least three times the battery life of the 6125. I have had none of the problems mentioned in the other reviews of the E450.
